P.S. As a thank you for helping her get her Dusty settled into his new stable, my mom bought me a new, vintage looking metal cowgirl sign! She bought herself one too, for her new tack locker. I do not know where I want to hang it yet, but it will not go on top of the fireplace screen where I took this photo as it fell off twice already (along with the horseshoe next to it) and clanged and banged itself up (adds to the vintage appeal, no?)

your new boots are lovely. I miss some of the western stuff...sigh. I know you are most likely truely jealous that you dont get to wearwhite breeches :)
ReplyDeleteBefore I bought my gelding, I sold (on Craigslist) the two pair of breeches I'd had from the hunter/jumper lessons I took in my mid-twenties... now I regret it because they actually still fit me, and now I'd like to have them in case I ever try riding My Boy huntseat....they weren't white though, hee!
ReplyDeleteDo you know where your mom got that sign? I want one! It would be so fitting since we ride mustangs here! Not that they're bad, but they were once wild. I love it.
ReplyDeleteAndrea, she got it at a western wear store in her town. There is a website printed on the corner of the sign, it is www.lyonco.com. Hope that helps!? I'm going to check it out myself!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm going to check it out now.
ReplyDeleteI love the boots, I have to admit I have a boot addiciton......
