I've Gone Wild!

Last weekend I was running an errand at the mall and walked by the Pottery Barn. I saw something in the window display and had to go in.

I hadn't been into the Pottery Barn in a while, like over a year. But this cool zebra print ottoman was in a display with a yellow throw blanket and it just called my name.

Of course I had to wander around the store and along the way I found these great cowhide pillow covers. The hide on these was actually soft, something you might be able to actually rest your head upon! They were not cheap, but I could see them going on clearance.

I wandered into the bath section and lo and behold, brown and cream jacquard zebra towels! Be still my heart! What do you know, I actually do need new towels. Don't you just love getting new towels? And I save all my old ones. Especially with horses, one always needs a stock of old towels!

Of course, when I got home I did some searching and found very similar towels at Bed, Bath and Beyond for half the price. So I could actually afford more than one bath towel.

SO where did my obsession with zebra prints came from.....goodness, heck if I know? I have always loved the look of some animal print infused into home decor- but just a smidgen. A picture frame here, a throw pillow here.

But oh Nellie, lookie here. How do you think My Boy would feel about this? Would I be taking this zebra print thing a little too far?

But this halter, it's doable, right?


Now these spur straps, goodness! These are cool! I am SO ordering these!!


P.S. Note to My Boy: No worries my pony, despite my latest fancy, I'm not getting any crazy ideas from the horse I saw at the fair last summer:
