An Appy Wannabe?

You know the snowflake coat pattern on an Appaloosa, right?


My Boy has a blanket, with a spots, with roaning, and snowflake pattern. He pretty much has it all when it comes to Appaloosa coat patterns, I think.

It seems as if Rosie was trying to imitate My Boy on our wintry walk a few weeks ago.

Maybe she thought it'd make me love her a little more, if she had some of my favorite white Appy speckles.

Be still my heart.
I don't think I could possibly love her more, even if she was my own dog.

    She reminds me of George, or neighbors dog. He often comes by when a thunderstorm is brewing and he gets nervous and needs some company...he is a sweet boy. She looks like a happy girl :) Hugs, Kelly

    Comet seems to channel a reverse Leopard spot pattern when it snows... black with white spots lol

    Just gorgeous PG... honestly, you are about as far from me as can be (weather-wise). It's hot and dusty here today. And windy. And hot (did I mention that already?).
